Pruning trees is an important part in maintaining a tree’s overall health, structure and aesthetic appeal. Pruning is done for many different reasons such as: removing damaged or dead limbs to maintain safety, promoting good crown structure, providing clearance, to increase light, or to open up a view.
We are skilled and knowledgeable in correct pruning methods for both mature and young trees. Whether it’s the biggest native tree on your property, or the most prized ornamental in your landscaping, we are competent in their care.
We do not use climbing spurs while pruning. We use safe and current techniques to access trees and complete the work in accordance with the ANSI A300 standards.
Sometimes it is necessary for trees to be removed. Whether it’s because a tree is dead or structurally unsound, the wrong tree for the space, or necessary for new construction, we can remove trees in a safe and efficient manner without putting you or your property at risk.
We are experienced in various methods of tree removal. Trees can be climbed and removed in sections using different rigging techniques. In other cases where trees are too hazardous to climb, bucket trucks, cranes and felling can be used to get the job done. We specialize in removing trees in close proximity to houses, utilities and landscapes, with minimal impact to your property.
We also provide chipping and cleanup as part of our service to clear away material from the removal process. Chips can be left onsite for landscaping purposes or hauled offsite. Large diameter wood can be cut into specified lengths for firewood or milling purposes.
